Yoga and life lessons for fertility, loss, pregnancy, birth and motherhood.
Before we dive in. I’d love to set a few things straight. I’m not here to sell you a quick fix. I wish I was. I would love nothing more than to be able to offer you a simple, one step solution to what ails you. Whether that be for your aching heart for the babies you seek, a pill to remove your fears around pregnancy and birth. Or some magic dust to get back to feeling like you in your body (and soul) after having a baby.
Unfortunately, I haven’t yet discovered those magic pills. But I can share with you the practices that have helped me over the last 9 years throughout my struggles with infertility, miscarriages, pregnancies and birth, and feeling lost as a new Mum. If you’re looking for real world, soul-centred practices to help you move past stress and overwhelm, and into a place where you can embrace the highs and the lows of all stages of Motherhood - then you’re in the right place.

Practice fertility massage at home! | improve digestion, circulation and encourage hormonal balance.
Fertility massage is a deep but gentle practice that you can do at home by yourself! BUT I recommend going to get a fertility massage if you're able to - they're amazing!
Fertility massage aims to:
+ Improve digestion through massaging into the digestive organs and improving circulation.
+ Improve blood flow to digestive and reproductive organs.
+ Release physical and emotional stagnation in the reproductive organs.
+ Encourage rest and relaxation to promote hormonal balance.
+ Encourage good positioning of organs in the pelvic bowl.

Thank you so much for sharing your story. So brave. I also have gone through 3 pregnancy losses in the last 1.5 years and it is devastating. It changes everything. Trying to come "back" from it seems impossible at times. As you said, i would never want anyone to have to experience that type of pain. What would be the best platform to host your yoga classes online?
I upload all my classes to UA-cam and then embed them on my own website (which I’ve made a membership site.) There are lots of options now though for membership sites that are already set up for you. Kajabi, podia etc

Thank you for this meditation Bettina! I did it yesterday before our 11 week scan, which i was very nervous about after our last baby received a fatal diagnosis at the same scan. The scan went well and our rainbow baby has been cleared of the same diagnosis :) I'm sure I will be coming back to this video for future scans <3

Yes this one is suitable for all stages of the cycle. I also have others on my channel specifically for the TWW if you prefer. 😊

Can traditional surya namaskar be done during two week wait period when TTC ?
It can, however I would personally avoid cobra/ up dog during the TWW. In fertility yoga we encourage a soft belly during this time. You can easily modify it to suit though. 🙏🏻✨

How to reconcile this with the law of attraction which teaches people to act as if they’re already in that state? In ttc I’m trying to act as if I’m pregnant or already has a baby all the time so I put everything else eg holidays on hold. But practically it’s not happening for ages. I also can’t find a deep trust after 7 cycles of ivf. I have completely lost confidence in my body and hope
This is a hard one to get your head around for sure. I wouldn’t actually as if I was pregnant or had a baby. I would instead put my energy into living my happy life, trusting that everything is coming in good time. Live as if your body is already its healthiest. Let yourself feel grateful for everything you do have instead of focusing entirely on what feels like it’s missing. Sending love. This is hard. 🙏🏻💜

This! I’m ttc for my second after two failed ivf cycles and my husband keep saying I need to just be grateful with one.
I understand your desire for another and not being able to let that go. But can you also hold tenderly the life you already have and not rob yourself of the joy of this moment too? It’s not easy that’s for sure. 🙏🏻💜

Been watching so many videos like this and I don't know what to do. Currently pregnant for the 2nd time and I feel like I could potentially be miscarrying again like last time. I don't know if my being vegetarian is affecting this, if I don't get enough sleep, work too long hours. I don't know what the problem is.

I was leaning towards medication but I was still worried that I would be subjecting myself to unnecessary pain and trauma vs. the D&C. Your point about getting to be home, with childcare arranged and a support person with you, and then expecting a flood of emotional pain during the process….this feels like the right path for me. I need to release this pain.

When to start the exercise,the exact day of the cycle please
The menstrual cycle varies for everyone so I’d recommend tracking yours to find out exactly when you ovulate. But typically a few days before ovulation is when you should start this one.
